Reese Turner was born and raised in San Diego, California. She graduated from Point Loma High School in June of 2018. She currently attends the University of Arizona where she is studying Veterinary Science.
Reese has been playing indoor and sand volleyball since 8th grade. She played on travel club teams her entire career and attended many National tournaments like Festival, AAU, and Junior National Qualifiers. She played sand volleyball for 692 West where she played many national tournaments and college showcases. In high school, Reese was on the Junior Varsity indoor volleyball team her freshman year and Varsity for her last 3 years. Her high school team won regionals 2 years in a row. They also came in second at the state championships her junior year and won the state championships her senior year. She primarily played setter and D.S. Reese was on the Varsity Sand Volleyball team for all 4 years. Her team won league championships 2 years in a row and placed 3rd in state championships her junior year. She was a defensive player in sand and was primarily partnered with blockers.
Throughout her time playing volleyball, Reese coached for Coast-Sunset volleyball club for 3 years. She mainly coached girls teams that ranged from 9 years old to 13 years old. Reese did this all while playing indoor and sand volleyball.
Reese began working for Zona Volleyball club during the 2019 club season. She worked with the girls in the developmental camp as well as the 7th and 8th grade girls preparing for high school. In addition to Zona, she was also the Varsity coach for Saint Cyril’s of Alexandria
