Morgan Carman

Morgan Carman grew up in Mesa, Arizona.  She played volleyball at Mesa Mountain View High School and graduated in 2012.  Morgan started as a libero in her two seasons on the varsity team.  She was named team captain her junior and senior seasons and was named team MVP her senior year.  Morgan led Mountain View to the state playoffs with a perfect 12-0 record and first place in the Bronze division of the Nike Tournament in 20111

In other volleyball endeavors, Morgan was a on the team that finished 2nd at the USA HP Volleyball Championships in 2011.  She also qualified for and finished 2nd at the USAV Junior Beach Championships in California. Her finish earned a bid to play in Chicago at the USA Junior Beach HP Championship tournament.

Morgan earned a volleyball scholarship to Southern Connecticut State University.  She started as a DS her freshman season and worked her way into the starting libero position for the following three seasons.  During her time at SCSU, her team went to the NE-10 Championship semifinals for the first time in school history (2012).  Morgan was  also named the NE-10 Libero of the Week and SCSU Army National Guard player of the week.   Morgan was team captain her junior and senior seasons and finished her career second in career digs at SCSU.  Morgan was nominated for the NE-10 Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll selection multiple times.  Following her collegiate career, she competed in Italy within the AIST league during the summer of 2014.

Morgan graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science with a concentration in Human Performance in 2016.  She is currently a medical technician at Arizona Eye Consultants.  Morgan has been coaching with Zona since the 2018 club season.
