Courtney Pehl

Courtney Pehl was born and raised in Freeport, Illinois.  She started playing club volleyball at the age of 12 for Club Fusion.  After graduating from Freeport High School, she went on to play college volleyball at Highland Community College.  Courtney then went on to play at Rockford College.

After graduation, Courtney was named the varsity coach at Aquin High School.  She coached there for two years, then spent a year running a middle school program at  Freeport Middle School.  

Courtney moved to Tucson in June of 2016 to take a teaching position at Steele Elementary School and the varsity coach position at Sabino High School.  She was named Coach of the Year for the 3A South Division in 2016.

In addition to coaching volleyball, Courtney enjoys traveling.  She has been coaching with Zona since the 2016 season.
