Fall Clinics 2020
Final clinic was held November 8
We will announce via email and social media when further sessions will be available.
The Registration "Skill Clinics" is not currently available.
Zona's Fall Clinics will have new formatting this year. Currently, and until high school volleyball competitions begin, clinics are open to athletes in grades 4-12. If and when the AIA high school competitive season begins, the clinics will change to be open only to athletes in grades 8 and below (and to high school athletes who are not playing on their AIA high school team).
All clinic sessions will be 1-hour in length and will focus on volleyball skill training. All clinic sessions will be lead by our highly qualified Zona staff.
Due to COVID-19, we have some very specific guidelines and procedures in place for our clinics:
Each session is limited to 15 athletes with a maximum of 2 staff members.
All participants and staff must wear facial masks during the session time.
All participants and staff must be fever-free and COVID-19 symptom free in order to participate. Participants and staff are asked not to come to the gym if experiencing and symptoms. Participants will be subject to a verbal symptom check prior to entering the gym.
If an athlete is ill or experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms, please do NOT bring her to the gym. Contact Michelle (520-661-6236) to cancel. We will refund any session payment so long as you contact at least 2 hours in advance of the session start time.
All athletes/parents must read and acknowledge the Safety Procedures and Preparedness Plan. In order to participate in any session, the athlete must submit a signed General Waiver/Release and COVID-19 Waiver/Release on file. Download, sign, and bring the documents to your first training session (submit all documents at your first session and they will be valid through the end of October for an additional sessions).
Only participants and staff may enter the gym. Parents are welcome to bring a chair and wait in the courtyard, but will not be allowed in the gym. LEAD has stated that if parents fail to social distance while in the courtyard, we will lose our ability to use the courtyard and parents will either need to wait in their vehicles or leave and return to pick up athletes.
Clinics will be offered on Wednesdays and various Sundays from September 9 through October 28, 2020. Two weeks of sessions will be available for registration at a time (as we pass one date, another date will open up).
Sessions will 1-hour in duration between the hours of 4:45pm-9:30pm. See the registration form for sessions times/age group (they will vary each week).
$30/session. Must be paid before the athlete enters the gym.
